Types of Contributions

Research Articles

The journal accepts original research articles presenting the results of completed theoretical or empirical studies in the social sciences and humanities. Submissions must clearly formulate a research problem, apply an appropriate methodology, and provide well-substantiated conclusions. Articles should align with the scope of the journal and demonstrate scholarly novelty, practical significance, and contribution to the advancement of the relevant discipline. Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

Review Papers

Review papers should provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of research on a specific issue in the social sciences and humanities. They are expected to analyse key theoretical approaches and directions of inquiry, identify gaps in existing studies, and propose avenues for further research. Authors are required to conduct a critical evaluation of the literature, synthesize prior findings, and articulate new research questions. Reviews must be objective, well-structured, and based on relevant and up-to-date sources.

General requirements for article submission

Submission format: .docx file.

Page format: A4, portrait layout

Text font: Times New Roman, 14 pt.

Paragraph indention: 12,5 mm.

Page margins: left – 20 mm, right – 20 mm, top – 20 mm, bottom – 20 mm.

Publication length – 4,000 -- 6,000 words.

Language of the article: Ukrainian or English

Abstract (1500–1800 characters) should contain information about goals, methods, results of the research, conclusions without structuring according to these parameters.

Keywords (5–7 keywords (Times New Roman bold italics) need to separate them with a semicolon and put two spaces between them)

The structure of article must meet the international scientific requirements and include the following:

Introduction, which includes the relevance of compulsory coverage and analysis of recent research and publications from 5–10 years.

The aim / the tasks.

Research methods – quantitative and qualitative; participants of the experiment; instruments and procedure; means of data collection and processing). The methodology should be clear and concise so that other scientists can use it to conduct such research.

Results of the research (with headings of the article). It is desirable to submit the results with tables, charts, graphs, figures to present the results of the study as fully as possible. However, duplication of infographics with text is not allowed.

 Discussion (comparison of the author’s results of the research with previous studies, in particular with those that were analyzed in the review of the scientific literature in the Introduction, indicating the new results). Limitations ((not obligatory paragraph).

Conclusions (Provide a synthesis of key points that match the objectives of research).

Prospects for further research.

References shall be formatted according to the APA style 7. Presentation materials APA. (Bibliographic Manager End Note. All sources in Cyrillic must be transliterated (please, use the online service http://translit.kh.ua/?passport), and translated in English [in square brackets].

The list of used literature. You should cite not less than 20 sources (80% with DOI). 50% of articles in reputable journals indexed in Web of Science and/or Scopus. Ukrainian sources not exceed 30%. The list of cited references must be drawn up in accordance with the State Standards of Ukraine DSTU 8302:2015. Presentation materials DSTU 8302:2015.

Article title, Last Name First Name, Info about the author, Abstract, Keywords – in Polish (if language of the article is Ukrainian) or in Ukrainian (if language of the article is Polish).

Making References in the text. APA Style: References execute in parentheses, which shall include the author's name, year of publication, the page to which refer. For example: (Kovalenko, 2010, p. 14).

Tables and other non-text objects should be numbered, placed inside the text, in the center – the figures (e.g., Figure 1. Title); above the table (e.g. Table 1. Title).

Captions to tables and figures should include the source of borrowing or a note about the author's personal development.
